Lakkidi - Its Raining Always Here

A picturesque hill town Lakkidi is well known as “Gateway to Wayanad” and it is beautifully situated 300 meters

Best time to Visit
There is no specific season or month for a visit to Lakkidi. The heavenly beauty can be visited at any time of the year, but if you want specific time or the best time here to visit, it is between August to May. 

How to Reach
 Kerala has well maintained roadways and well knit transportation system, which makes it quite easy to access any part of Kerala and the surrounding tourist places. Travel to Lakkadi is made quite easier by the well knit transportation facilities. 

By Air: Karipur International Airport is the nearest one which is located at a distance of 23 kms from Kozhikode. From here one can hire local taxi or cab to reach the place. 

By Train: Kozhikode railways station is the nearest one and is located at a distance of 60 kms from Vythiri. 

By Bus: From Kozhikode there is regular bus service to Vythiri. From Vythiri, Lakkidi is just 5 kms away.
